Note from A State of Nature seamstress:

"The herringbone is one of our favourite fabrics to use! It's perfect for making heavy-wearing and durable trousers and outerwear. We use it to make our Atlas trousers and unlined Cooper coats. Additionally, you can use it as a heavy lining when making winter jackets. This fabric is also suitable for making bags and other accessories. It has a dry wax finish, preventing stains from seeping through the fabric. You can wash it at 30 degrees, but the dry wax finish will gradually wear off over many months or years (depending on the frequency of wear)."
